The asteroïd's name is composed by two elements :
• The year it was discovered.
• Followed by 2 letters that come from the discovery of the object during the year : 1-15 january will get AA, AB, AC etc., 16-31 january will get BA, BB, BC etc., to finally get YA, YB, YC etc. between 16-31 December.

For example an astéroïd named 1992 KD is the 4th discovered in the second half of may 1992.
